Platte Valley Precast offers agricultural precast products.  Our top offerings include columns, beams, troughs, and precast flush tanks.

Columns

Recently, our most successful product has been our precast columns for deep-pit hog confinements.  These have been found to be much more efficient than cast-in-place columns, as well as being stronger and more stable.  They feature a broad reinforced integral base, which requires no fastening to the confinement floor.  Precast columns eliminate forming, bracing, aligning, leveling, and pumping.

Beams

Concrete beams are placed on top of columns to support the slats in deep-pit confinements.

Troughs

Our troughs are made to our own design.

Flush Tanks

Platte Valley Precast provides flush tanks for livestock operations.

Platte Valley Precast offers custom precast work as well.  We built these retaining wall slabs for a soldier-pipe retaining wall beside the railroad crossing on 3rd Avenue in Columbus.
